Building the Next Generation of AI Innovators: Highlights from Mexibog Kids & Teens Bootcamp
On Friday, September 5, 2025, the Mexibog Innovation Hub, Abuja proudly celebrated the graduation of the Kids and Teens Mini AI Innovators Bootcamp – a groundbreaking 5-week program held from Monday, August 4 to Friday, September 5, 2025.
This unique initiative brought together children and teenagers aged 4 to 17, giving them the opportunity to explore the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI), coding, and data analytics in an engaging and age-appropriate way. The program was designed not only to teach technical skills but also to spark creativity, storytelling, and problem-solving through AI-powered experiences.
A Journey of Learning, Fun, and Innovation
Over the five weeks, participants gained hands-on experience in:

Python Full-stack Development – building interactive applications from scratch.

Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals – exploring how machines learn and think.

Introduction to Data Analytics – discovering how to interpret and use data.

Fun AI Concepts – using AI in games, storytelling, and drawing, making learning exciting and relatable.

Creative Project Development – each participant built and presented their own mini AI-powered project at the end of the program.
From designing chatbots to creating AI-generated stories and art, the young innovators demonstrated that AI is not only about technology, it’s also about creativity, imagination, and fun.
